Toshiba Satellite L510 laptop Bluetooth device drivers
My bluetooth is not functioning – though it can be turned on and it can identify other bluetooth device, but the connection won’t established. The time now is Satellite Bluetoogh – Bluetooth not working.
I’ve never got to use the bluetooth function since the day I bought the laptop – it’s so new that it’s just 6mths old. Sounds like that there is a problem with your Bluetooth software or service.

I have exactly the same problem with a new Toshiba Satellite UD Windows 7 Premium home edition 64bits to connect any bluetooth device Hope someone can advise and help. Have you checked the Windows services if all Bluetooth services works properly and started?
why I can’t find bluetooth in my Toshiba L510
Since it never worked it it is most likely that something is wrong with the installation. I think you should firstly uninstall the BT stack. Appreciate if there’s anyone can help – I’m trying not to send to service centre for checking becuz Satelite had a very bad experience few months back – it took a month just to repair the fan problem. Then reboot the unit and install the new downloaded Toshiba BT stack.

Hi Seems there is something wrong with the installed BT stack and the BT service which is running in background. When I turned on the bluetooth, toshbia can identify the available bluetooth device – only it can’t send or add a new connection.
Maybe you should try restarting the BT services. Results 1 to 9 of 9.
Exactly same issue as mine with the same model, when newly bought I’ve tried the bluetooth for sending some data from my laptop to handphone it does work perfectly, but after 2 months, it suddenly doesn’t work anymore and whenever I try to connect it shows “Service Discovery Failed”, I even suspect my WIFI card has minor issue, sometimes the satelllite speed is fast and sometimes slow with the same connection, let’s take an example, Mafia Wars, I and my friend connected to the same WIFI spot, he managed to play Mafia War smoothly while I can’t, and sometimes I couldn’t connect to certain WIFI spot but my friend did, seriously need some solutions for these two issues from here.
That’s so not convenient. Each time i try to make a new connection with my mobile, or send files to my mobile or other bluetooth device, a msg window pop-up saying “Service Discover Failed”. And when I tried to add a new connection, a msg window pop-up saying “Detection of Service Failed”.
I tried the suggested solutions above with satellitf latest 64bits bluetooth stack To join the discussion, please login or register.
Just to make it for sure install the latest Bluetooth stack which you can find in the Download section of the following website: It’s a brand new laptop and is installed with Windows Vista.
